Stolen straight from Gunner in the forum. I make no apologies, because I need to eat a burrito from this place. I fuckin’ need it. Too bad I’ve never had a decent dish of Mexican food outside of a state that actually borders Mexico, so I’ll probably be horribly disappointed. Not that I care, I’m going to arrange every quesadilla I order into a shuriken from now on. And I will cherish its cheesy, violent heritage.
On a related note, I’ve also never had a decent plate of Mexican food in Mexico. You’d think those wetbacks would learn how to cook their own goddamned food.
Mexican TownHere in Detroit, we have a lil area called Mexican Town, they have damn good Mexican food there and we’re FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR away from Mexico.

hehNever been to TJ. Granted, I haven’t spent enough time down there to really cast any aspersions on them, I just found it funny that I tried a bunch of different places and got hosed every time. Reminds me of the time my friends told me not to order pizza in Italy, because they \”don’t know how to make it.\” My friends are morons btw, I had amazing pizza there.

hehCool.This place is about 2 miles from my house. When they first opened, the delivery guy actually wore a fucking ninja costume on his runs.It is a lot better than I would have given it credit for.
BestThe best authentic mexican food i have ever ate came from a Hot-Truck parked on the side of a road. 3 guys stood there making wonderfull carnitas, carne asada and probably Labrador!!..Didnt matter, the taste was amazing, spiced just right, on a folding table sat 3 kinds of hotsauce, chopped radishes and lots of onions and celantro…Cabo has the Hippo behind Sammys place, eat dinner there just before the concert, you wont be sorry….
