New Transformers trailer got leaked this morning. Special thanks to Billy Ray for the heads up. As you can see, the movie looks awesome… based on the fact that you see zero fucking percent of it in this teaser. Oh well.
Anybody have that pic of Bumblebee from the set? I saw it the other day, and figured we may as well have something that resembles what will actually be in the flick around here.
huh?transformers on mars? now it’s been a while since i’ve really seen any transformers episodes but i dont remember anything about them being on mars. as i recall they crashed on earth.why change a proven story line that already works? especially since you have got to be looking to try to cater to the cartoons old fan base as well as kids.

bahI want it to be great, but at the moment they appear to have casted no one as transformers, which makes me doubtful. And while Megan Fox is tasty, somehow i don’t think she’ll be able to carry this film all by herself.

*yawn*We can all thank Michael \”Bag Of Douche\” Bay when this movie ends up sucking. If the Transformers are supposed to be aliens, then why are they robots that change into vehicles that we all know and love? I want to see cars crashing into each other, planes crashing into skyscrapers mid-change, and I want dunebuggy on dunebuggy action.

TransformersIn the original cartoon, the transformers were robot aliens that were created on the factory planet of cybertron. Cybertron was running out of energy, and while still fighting their civil war the transformers were exploring further and further out. Megatron staged an attack on Optimus to wipe out the leader, and their ships fell through a wormhole, coming out in earth orbit. As they were attacking the autobots, all decepticons were in the autobot ship. The ships spiraled out of control, the Autobot ship crashing into Mt. St. Helens, and the decepticon ship crashing into the Atlantic.When Mt. St. Helens erupted, it jarred the Ark, and the Repair function kicked in. Teletran 1 (the ships computer) sent out drones to see what was on the planet so that it could modify as it repaired so that they could blend in. Since the transformers were robots, it scanned machines and other artificial items.Teletran was so damaged it healed a decepticon first. the decepticons dragged each other to the scanning utility, then left to regroup..So, FergHova, thats why they were aliens but looked like human devices – to blend in. From the teaser, which may not be anything we see in the actual movie (most teasers I’ve seen are scenes that never make it into the movie) I would assume that instead of them crashing on Earth 65Million yrs ago, they’ve found the solar system and are exploring inwards.They probably changed it because they’re setting it in modern times, and something like the Ark would’ve been picked up by satellites, etc.
