  1. Cool.I hope it’s the lions one and not the stupid cars one. While they’re at it they can put Thundercats on after it and completely recreate my after-school cartoon watching schedule. Guess I need that TiVo (or HTPC) now. Maybe it’s time for MythTV.

  2. bot has been nearly fifteen years since the war between the orcs and humans ended. An uneasy peace settled over the land while, for years, the drums of war were silent. Yet the kingdoms of men grew complacent in their victory – and slowly, the defeated orcish clans regrouped under the banner of a new visionary leader.

  3. prettyI’m regularly harsh on critiquing games on newgrounds, but let me say this is the firt 10/10 i’ve ever issued.First, let’s start with the BAD (looking at my notes):The attacks made by the world 3-4 boss don’t hurt bullet bill. The world 6-4 boss is way too difficult, because you must keep bullet bill in the center of the screen while going backwards. This heavily screws over your reaction time, and is the single most difficult obsticle in the game. The world 7-4 boss has no damage sound (it’d help if all bosses had a flashy effect when hit to show they take damage). Also, the world 7-4 boss \”orb\” attack has greater collision than the size of the orb itself, althought the fight wasn’t really that difficult.Obviously, replayability is a factor (but an issue all single player games face). Also, in a perfect world, there might have been some bonus levels (no obsticals, just mass block smashage) or power ups (bullet bill flies faster with flaming streaks, but, everything is slowed down slightly as if in \”bullet time\”, har har, to make moveing easier). Using the mouse to control bill was a problem a lot of the times, because the mouse would jerk off the flash window and i’d go crashing. I’d also say I hate the especially non-violent means that blocks exploded, and the hardest baddy to physically hit was probably either the hammer bros or the goombas, not really any other baddies in harder levels. Now for the GOOD:The game is amazing. It’s original, it adheres to the super mario universe, it’s not designed for children (for shame Mr. Miyamoto), details like the different levels and enemies, the mechanics of several bosses, the hilarious bonus characters (actually, I also laughed when bullet bill nose dived into the water for the first time), the coolness of the credits screen, the finally at the end of the credits :^), oh, and the HAMMER BROTHERS (annoying, I wouldn’t have them any other way). The fact that you’d wipe out on a crash and still take out enemies with you. The swinging lakitu that launches you after the half-point.I feel guilty not having PAYED for this game! It rivials and may be superior to modern video gaming and certainly takes on a plethora of excellent and fun/creative game design. I’d expect this kind of gameplay from a younger Miyamoto. This is something i’m going to show my brothers next week and my friends.I heavily anticipate Bullet Bill 3… *wink*. Or you could always take the design in a different direction, and put out something like… I dunno, \”Thwomp\”. Hehe. THANK YOU for an extremely enjoyable waste of time :^D
