Just in case you were thinking about seeing Blades of Glory, but were teetering on the edge, I may have the words that you’re looking for.
It’s not great, but it’s pretty damned good. And it reminds me that I haven’t nearly given the coverage to Nick Swardson that I had hoped for. Matter of fact, that’s my weekend mission: to deliver clips and information to you about Nick, because he is one funny motherfucker. I especially want my cousin to like him, because Nick is bisexual, and my cousin is a huge homophobe. Perhaps an even bigger homophobe than he is a Grandma’s Boy fan, so this revelation should be a fun experiment.
Oh, and go see Blades for the skating scenes and the “Flash Gordon” tribute alone. Don’t see it expecting Old School or Anchorman type Will excellence, just go in expecting fun and entertainment.
Nick Swarsdon is fucking great in Grandma’s Boy. I’m going to see his stand up in Chicago sometime in May.

That’s pretty funny. My friend and I were discussing this movie at work yesterday and he remarked how he can’t understand how Will Ferrell keeps making movies. I told him it’s the same reason why they still let Sandler make movies.
Blades look somewhat interesting. Having that Napoleon Dynamite kid in it adds to it. Maybe when it hits PPV I’ll see it.
It seemed that I had run right into a snowman ?but this snowman was not normal! It was moving and its eyes glowed at me with chaotic blood thirst. I started to attack with a storm of fire arrows, but before I could cast them I heard a faint whistling sound and watched with my mouth dropped open as the snowman screamed and crumbled at my feet.
I looked up and was happy to see Feanor in dark elf polymorph grinning at me. I also saw Sexy and Adeleide standing beside him.

We continued on through a snowy plain with very little trees until we came upon a monster with an ugly face and a bag full of adena. We discovered that this type of monster was called a Gnoll, and I took to killing them very easily with the aid of my dog. Fortunately for the Elves, these gnolls also seemed to drop a lot of rough mithril.
I’m sure you have all noticed by now that we FINALLY LAUNCHED THE LONG AWAITED REDESIGN!
Stamper mocked up over 100 different headers and navbars before we finally settled on the new look for NG. We think it’s much more fresh and current than what everyone is accustomed to, but don’t worry, in time you’ll adjust to the new style!
Ross and James have re-coded the entire NG back-end from scratch, so you’ll notice the site is running A LOT faster now. That’s been the biggest and most challenging phase of the redesign, rewriting and optimizing old code that went all the way back to 1999. We’ve now laid the groundwork for all the new features that we’ve been planning ever since the redesign began!
Code junkies will also notice that we are using CSS for our background stylings and fonts, although we weren’t able to move towards a completely CSS layout; in order to do so, we would have had to simplify the layout way too much and we would have looked like every other bland CSS site. We think we have a perfect amount of CSS that ensures pages will load faster while still looking good, so coupled with the new back-end, the site should roar.
Tim has spent months preparing new hardware, so we have additional web and database servers carrying the load as NG continues to grow! We’re expecting traffic to surge when news gets out about the recent changes!
Unfortunately, due to how long the redesign dragged out, we haven’t launched with ALL the new features (hence the BETA). After staring at the new level icons for the past months, Jeff is no longer happy with how they turned out and wants to redraw them. We always liked his new level icons, but we trust Jeff’s judgment and we know the new icons will be better than ever. Expect to see them this summer at the latest!
Also, we are still dealing with some bugs pertaining to the new features in the Audio Portal, so until we get those straightened out, those features are on indefinite hold. Finally, the user pages aren’t quite ready yet, either. We are still finishing the features that will afford you maximum customization of your page, so you can decorate it however you like, run fun external code and insert your favorite YouTube videos and widgets from across the web. It will be just like Myspace, only you’ll be able to customize your page EVEN MORE!

I saw him do standup a few years ago back at school. A lot of it was what I saw on his special on Comedy Central, but he was still fucking hysterical. Great show.

I am also going to chicago in May to see him I think. But better yet is that Zach Galifianakis is finally coming through Missouri! I’m so excited to see him again. Fucking brilliant.
