It’s easy enough to read an IP from a torrent file that’s on any other tracker, you don’t have to be operating the tracker to be breaking the law, that’s just the level at which they are currently leveling lawsuits. The thing is that they are mistaken about who is breaking the law currently, in my mind the lawbreakers are the down/uploaders as a tracker doesn’t contain the file that is being shared.
