I have finally “caught up” (if there is such a thing) with the PM / email backlog that resulted from my wedding and honeymoon. If you didn’t get a reply, I’m sorry; I tried to deal with as many of the various user issues as I could! Sometimes I feel like I’m just running on a treadmill and not getting anywhere…
I did, however, manage to get some stuff done in the past two weeks… I made a collection page for Lock Day, which was on May 26th.
We got the prize packs sent out for the Honeymoon art contest. Sorry again for having some questionable winners in there… I really did appreciate everyone who participated in the contest, I just have a soft spot for stuff that makes me laugh, and that usually seems to be stupid stuff for some reason.
The prize packs for the Pico music contest are all prepped, BUT I’ve decided to hold off on sending them out until next week. It turns out we have a “bonus” prize that will be ready by next week, so I can include it in the prize packs.
The Rock Out contest has launched and will be running until July 15th! Big cash prizes, check it out!
The most exciting news of the day, though, is that I have finally tossed together a Weird Al collection! There has been great demand for this collection, and we got Weird Al’s blessing to make it! Check out the collection to read the whole story.
In other NG community news… FloppyDiscClock called the Tom Green show and proclaimed Strawberry Clock to be the king of the Portal. The rest of the Clock Crew bought a cow and named it Wade! This cow will be donated to a small village, where its milk will provide food and its turds will provide fertilizer. You can learn more at heifer.org!
Ozcar and the Blood donors crew would like to remind everyone that Thursday, June 14th, is International Blood Donors Day! Give blood and take pictures, then post your pictures in the BDC thread!
