Anna Nicole Smith Dead

Anna Nicole Smith: DeadHoly shit, Anna Nicole Smith has died this afternoon.

Reality TV star and former model Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead Thursday after being taken to a Florida hospital after being found unconscious in her hotel room, a law enforcement source with knowledge of the case told CNN.

Smith, 39, collapsed at a south Florida hotel and was taken to a local hospital, according to news reports.

According to reports, Smith was found unresponsive in her hotel room.

Yeesh. Rough year.

….is it bad that she was in my dead pool? Same thing with Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez from TLC a few years back. I didn’t think Lopez would die (I thought Anna was an easier bet) but I kind of wanted the TLC shenanigans to stop. They stopped alright.

*Update* Couple of stations have reported that some schools are letting kids out early. We didn’t get out early when Chris Farley died, why the Hell would kids give a crap about a trainwreck of a former Playboy Playmate dying? Lazy children, flaccid society.

  1. I got let out of school early when Selena died. Years later, we took a field trip to see that movie about her starring J Lo. This is precisely why they’re building a fence along my border hometown.

  2. Damn, I suppose if I wanna cum on her face now, I’ll have to wack it on her tombstone.

I’m shocked and appalled by my comment. I’m sorry.

God, I’m gonna miss that spacey bimbo and her bouncy boobs, but for fuck’s sake…she’s no Marilyn.

  3. Yeah as soon as BadAssMoFo broke the news to me, I turned on CNN and they were instantly talking about how she was like Marilyn Monroe…. It nearly floored me on how fookin stoopid that question was….

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea Jan. 17, 2007 — Medical and security personnel rush a 65-year old Korean male in need of medical attention to an awaiting ambulance after his Korean Airline flight was diverted to Kunsan from Incheon International Airport. The passenger airliner, with 274 people on board, diverted here due to poor weather at Incheon. He was transported to Kunsan Medical Center, located in downtown Kunsan City. The passengers were offered bottled water as they waited to take off, and the aircraft was refueled by Air Force personnel. (Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Nathan Gallahan)

  5. September 11, 2001 was one of the darkest days in our nation’s recent history; a day our country was shaken to its very foundation. The United States experienced the worst incident of terrorism in its history: the coordinated hijacking of four commercial airliners. Despite the destruction and devastation, stories of courage and heroism emerged.

On September 11, 2001, shortly after terrorists flew airplanes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and into the Pentagon, the forty passengers and crewmembers on United Airlines Flight 93 fought a battle in the sky over Pennsylvania. These forty heroes won their battle against terrorists and thwarted a planned attack on our nation’s capital, saving countless numbers of lives, but sacrificing their own in a field just east of Pittsburgh, in Somerset County, Pennsylvania.

The story of Flight 93 is a national treasure — a story of hope in human courage and cooperation. When confronted with the gravity of their situation, the passengers and crew of Flight 93 chose to act heroically and sacrifice their lives for their country. These 40 heroes made a democratic decision to fight back against terrorism and thereby thwarted a planned attack on our nation’s capital, saving countless numbers of lives.

We are currently engaged in a $30 million campaign effort to memorialize the spontaneous acts of courage and leadership that took place on Flight 93. It will take approximately 2 years to complete engineering, final design drawings and construction drawings for the memorial, the visitor center, roads and utilities. This parallels the two-year fundraising campaign. If construction starts in Fiscal Year 09, we are aiming for a 10-year anniversary Grand Opening in 2011.

We are inspired by the patriotism of the 40 ordinary citizens of Flight 93. Our country has always lifted up ordinary individuals who acted in extraordinary ways. The Passengers and Crew of Flight 93 are part of this great American tradition. They are examples of the American ideals of citizenship and patriotism for a new century and in a changing global context.

The Flight 93 National Memorial located in Western Pennsylvania will be a place that preserves and honors their spontaneous acts of courage and leadership for future generations. They deserve a great memorial; and we and future citizens of our great nation will be inspired by the story it will preserve – may their spontaneous leadership and collective acts of courage and sacrifice continue to inspire and instruct us.

The opening is scheduled for 2011, the 10-year anniversary of September 11, 2001.

  6. The new year is off to a good start! This past month introduced the arrival of a new trend: Art Forum Collabs! I’m particularly pleased with the latest submission, Food Chain. Not only is it a clever concept but it also features music from the Audio Portal, as ALL SUBMISSIONS SHOULD!

We had some out of town visitors in January, with Dan Paladin visiting from Cleveland to work on Castle Crashers and DanMalo in town from Vegas to help with the post-holiday prize rush. We made Queers of War, which disturbed many users but apparently pleased enough to get voted #1 this month. Don’t worry, the prize is being passed down the line!

QoW also attracted a threatening letter from Epic’s legal representation, although the threat was withdrawn after a chat with the VERY COOL people at Epic. I was hesitant to share any of the ongoing drama publicly because I didn’t want to unintentionally villainize Epic, as we really are HUGE FANS of Gears of War and think that every gamer in their right mind should own a copy.

Our shipment of 6×11 Wacom tablets finally arrived, so we started sending out the Wacom tablets from our Holiday Give-Away! So far we have shipped out all the tablets for the US winners. We still need to ship out the international winners, which will require customs forms in triplicate and all that crap.

That wraps things up for the January prizes! Everyone should note that we are celebrating a second annual PICO DAY on April 30th. There will be prizes like last year, which I’ll be announcing in the near future. If you aren’t familiar with Pico, it was one of the early “hits” here on Newgrounds, back in 1999. You can find more background here.

Finally, keep the Bytesize submissions coming! Just be sure to put some effort into them, there’s a lot of submissions that aren’t making the cut. If you like tentacle monsters, check out the latest Art Forum Contest, complete with cash prizes!

  7. Glad the bitch is dead. Fucking gold-digging, white trash whore. I love how they’re comparing her to marilyn monroe…..what the fuck!?

  8. Hmmm bots eh ? Never thought of that…why the hell would someone make a post-bot ? I guess someone was really bored one day. Thanks for the insight.

  9. You’re right phucked. The only thing that Marilyn Monroe and her had in common was the overdose part and the whore part. Other than that, no comparison.

  10. NO COMPARISON. MONICA LEWINSKY HAS MORE IN COMMON WITH MARILYN MONROE THAN ANNA NICOLE. DID ANNA EVER SUCK OFF A PRESIDENT…LET ALONE GET DOUBLETEAMED BY THE THE PRESIDENT AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL?

  11. According to the news report I saw this morning, the coroner is saying that she didn’t die of a mixture of drugs and alcohol as people suspected. He could find no evidence of alcohol in her stomach at all. Apparently she had been suffering from flu like symptoms following a breast implant correction operation so it might have been an infection.
