Gary Gygax fails saving throw vs mortality

MILWAUKEE – Gary Gygax, who co-created the game Dungeons & Dragons and helped start the role-playing phenomenon, died Tuesday morning at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.

I’m guessing the real cause of death was his review of the 4th Edition Rules. Alas, I must thank Mr. Gygax for sticking me with a nerdy addiction that lasted me well into my Sophomore year of High School. I got my first D&D Basic set in 1982 and my friends and I were hooked from that point on.
