Outlook, useless?Outlook will not be useless any time soon, unless you want to completely eradicate any type of groupware solution for business.Oh, I suppose you have options: let every dumbass end user be responsible for administering his own corporate mailbox, or move to Lotus Notes.Don’t get me wrong, G-Mail is fantastic for personal use. Chances are that anyone who can actually get set up on it either knows a little bit about what they’re doing, or has a 13 year old kid to do it for them.The average corporate user however, can barely operate a microwave oven. Insisting they be responsible for managing their own contact lists, public folders, or (gulp) time, is pure comedy.Mind you, I pretty much hate everyone that works Information Technology anyway. I’m gonna go stab someone in the face, then have sex with a pie.
